UrgePocket is a self-help tool for the moment a gambling urge hits. This page explains what stays on your device, what leaves it, and how to reach us.

Information that stays on your phone

Journal entries, urge check-ins, the amount you set for each urge, money saved, goals, and your meeting search area are stored on your phone. UrgePocket does not upload that recovery record to our servers.

You can delete goals, journal entries, and check-ins in Settings. Uninstalling the app removes what is stored on that phone.

Purchases

Pro is billed by Apple or Google. UrgePocket uses RevenueCat to know whether Pro is active on this install. We do not receive your card number. RevenueCat receives an app identifier and your purchase status. Apple and Google process the payment under their own policies.

Meeting search

If you look up a meeting, the ZIP code or city you type is sent so the app can find a place and a Gamblers Anonymous listing. That search is saved on your phone until you clear it. If you open a meeting in Maps, the address is handed to the maps app you choose.

Texts you choose to send

If you text a support person, UrgePocket opens your phone’s messaging app with the number and message you provided. We do not receive that text and we do not keep a copy of it.

Reminders

Daily reminders are scheduled on your phone. They are not sent from our servers. You can turn notification permission off in your phone settings.

This website

urgepocket.com is a public page. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which receives ordinary connection details such as IP address and browser type to deliver the page.

If you email support@urgepocket.com, we use that message to reply to you.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information.
We do not show ads in the app.
We do not use your journal to train a model.

Children

UrgePocket is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to support and we will delete that message.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
